Speaker Announcement
We are pleased to announce Stephanie Momeni, Ph.D., MBA, PMP, from Oregon Health & Science University, USA, as a confirmed speaker at the Global Virtual Streptococcus Research Symposium, taking place April 27–28, 2026 (Eastern Time, USA).
Dr. Momeni’s presentation will highlight current research on the role of Streptococcus mutans in the pathogenesis of early childhood dental caries. Her work explores microbial ecology, virulence mechanisms, and host–microbe interactions within the oral cavity, providing new insights into disease progression and informing improved strategies for prevention and clinical management.
Dr. Stephanie S. Momeni is a researcher in oral microbiology and clinical dental research whose work focuses on the microbial and clinical determinants of early childhood caries. Her interdisciplinary expertise integrates microbiology, clinical dentistry, and translational research to better understand oral infectious diseases and improve pediatric oral health outcomes.
