Speaker Announcement
We are pleased to announce Dr. Shaynoor Dramsi, Group Leader at the Institut Pasteur, France, as a confirmed speaker at the Global Virtual Streptococcus Research Symposium, to be held online on April 27–28, 2026.
Dr. Dramsi’s presentation will highlight recent findings on the molecular and cellular mechanisms governing the interaction between Streptococcus gallolyticus and the human colonic mucus layer. The work provides important insights into bacterial colonization, host barrier interactions, and factors that may influence gastrointestinal persistence and disease associations.
Dr. Shaynoor Dramsi is a leading investigator in bacterial pathogenesis, with expertise in host–pathogen interactions at mucosal surfaces. Her research at the Institut Pasteur focuses on mechanisms of bacterial adhesion, colonization, and immune evasion, particularly in the context of gastrointestinal pathogens.
