Speaker Announcement
February 10, 2026 | Central European Time
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Melanie Janning as a featured speaker at the Virtual Liquid Biopsy Symposium.
Dr. Janning is Head of the Liquid Biopsy & Single Cell Analysis Group at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center, where she leads cutting-edge translational research at the interface of circulating tumor cells (CTCs), single-cell technologies, and clinical oncology.
Dr. Janning’s research focuses on moving beyond simple CTC enumeration toward functional and molecular characterization at single-cell resolution. Her work leverages CTC apheresis, advanced single-cell profiling, and functional assays to better understand tumor heterogeneity, metastatic potential, and therapy resistance, aiming to translate these insights into clinically actionable biomarkers.
In this talk, Dr. Janning will explore how CTC apheresis enables the capture of rare tumor cells at scale, opening new possibilities for functional testing and deep single-cell analysis. She will highlight how these approaches can inform treatment decisions and advance personalized cancer care.
Join us for an engaging session exploring the next generation of liquid biopsy technologies and their role in precision oncology.
Time: Starts at 12:30 PM, Central European Time
This conference is organized by Impact Research Communications (IRC)
