Speaker Announcement

We are pleased to announce Dr. Giuseppe Teti, Professor of Microbiology at the University of Messina, Italy, as a featured speaker at the Global Virtual Streptococcus Research Symposium, taking place April 27–28, 2026 (Eastern Time, USA).

Prof. Teti’s presentation will explore how studies of streptococcal infections have helped reveal key principles of innate immune recognition and host defense. His work examines interactions between streptococcal virulence factors and host immune pathways, offering insights into inflammatory signaling, immune modulation, and mechanisms that shape the outcome of infection.

Prof. Giuseppe Teti is an internationally recognized microbiologist whose research focuses on host–pathogen interactions, innate immunity, and the immunopathology of bacterial infections. His work has contributed significantly to understanding how streptococcal pathogens interact with and influence the human immune system.

Join the meeting to learn how streptococci have helped advance our understanding of innate immune mechanisms and host defense.

Dates: April 27–28, 2026
Format: Virtual – Eastern Time (US)

This conference is organized by Impact Research Communications (IRC)
