Speaker Announcement

February 10, 2026 | Central European Time

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Milana Frenkel-Morgenstern (Reichman University) as a featured speaker at the Virtual Liquid Biopsy Symposium.

Dr. Frenkel-Morgenstern is a Principal Investigator at the Scojen Institute for Synthetic Biology, where she leads interdisciplinary research at the intersection of synthetic biology, computational genomics, and precision oncology.

Dr. Frenkel-Morgenstern’s research focuses on developing advanced computational and experimental approaches to uncover complex genomic alterations, with a strong emphasis on gene fusions and their clinical relevance. Her work integrates liquid biopsy technologies, next-generation sequencing, and data-driven models to improve the detection and interpretation of fusion events in cancer, enabling more accurate molecular diagnostics and targeted treatment strategies.

In this talk, Dr. Frenkel-Morgenstern will explore how liquid biopsy is transforming the detection of gene fusions, which have traditionally been challenging to identify using conventional tissue-based methods. She will highlight emerging methodologies and computational frameworks that enhance sensitivity, specificity, and clinical utility, demonstrating how fusion-driven insights can broaden the scope of personalized cancer care.

Join us for an inspiring talk on how gene fusion detection through liquid biopsy is redefining molecular diagnostics.

This conference is organized by Impact Research Communications (IRC)
