We are happy to announce the 2026 Global Virtual Conference on Malaria Research, taking place online on June 29. This international event will bring together world-class investigators and the next generation of scientists to drive forward innovation and collaboration in malaria research.
Key Scientific Focus Areas:
• Parasite molecular and cellular biology
• Host–parasite interactions
• Antimalarial drug discovery and resistance
• Immune responses to malaria infection
• Strategies for malaria control and elimination
Conference Chairman: Dr. Sanjay Desai
Dr. Desai received his M.D. and Ph.D. from Washington University in St. Louis and completed his clinical training in internal medicine and infectious diseases at Duke University Medical Center. He is currently part of the Division of Intramural Research at NIAID, NIH. His research focuses on the molecular and cellular biology of malaria parasites, particularly parasite-specific ion channels as promising targets for antimalarial therapies.
Be part of a global effort to advance scientific discovery and accelerate progress toward malaria elimination.
