Speaker Announcement | 2nd International Virtual Conference on Staphylococci and Staphylococcal Infections

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Abdou Hachani, Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, University of Melbourne (Australia), as an invited speaker at the 2nd International Virtual Conference on Staphylococci and Staphylococcal Infections.
Dr. Hachani will present advanced multi-omics approaches that reveal how S. aureus rapidly remodels its physiology in response to human serum exposure. His talk will highlight integrated genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and metabolomic insights that uncover adaptive pathways driving immune evasion, survival, and virulence during invasive infection.
Dr. Hachani’s research focuses on bacterial stress responses, host–pathogen interactions, and systems-level analysis of infection biology. By applying integrated multi-omics and functional genomics, his work is providing a comprehensive view of how S. aureus senses and adapts to host environments, with important implications for therapeutic targeting and infection control.
