Speaker Announcement

We are pleased to announce Dr. Justin Zik, Researcher at the National University of Singapore, as a speaker at the Global Virtual Streptococcus Research Symposium, taking place April 27–28, 2026 (Eastern Time, USA).

Dr. Zik’s presentation will highlight innovative applications of dual transposon sequencing to map genetic interaction networks in bacteria. His research focuses on uncovering functional relationships between genes that govern bacterial fitness, adaptation, and virulence, providing a systems-level understanding of microbial biology with implications for antimicrobial target discovery.

Dr. Justin Zik is a researcher in bacterial genetics and molecular microbiology, with expertise in high-throughput functional genomics and host–pathogen interactions. His work at the National University of Singapore leverages advanced genetic tools to dissect complex regulatory networks in pathogenic bacteria.

Dates: April 27–28, 2026
Format: Virtual – Eastern Time (US)

This conference is organized by Impact Research Communications (IRC)
