We are pleased to welcome Dr. Kevin Brown, Assistant Professor of Microbiology & Immunology at the University of Oklahoma Health Campus, as a featured speaker at the International Virtual Conference on Advances in Toxoplasmosis Research.
Dr. Brown’s research focuses on the molecular signaling pathways that regulate motility, invasion, and environmental sensing in Toxoplasma gondii. His laboratory investigates how parasite signaling complexes are assembled, trafficked, and spatially organized within the cell to coordinate critical processes required for host infection.
In this talk, Dr. Brown will present recent advances revealing how the guanylate cyclase signaling complex is trafficked and assembled in Toxoplasma, highlighting its role in regulating cyclic nucleotide signaling pathways that control parasite motility and host cell invasion.
