Speaker Announcement | 2nd International Virtual Conference on Staphylococci and Staphylococcal Infections
February 23–24, 2026
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Jérôme Josse, Associate Professor at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (France), as an invited speaker at the 2nd International Virtual Conference on Staphylococci and Staphylococcal Infections.
Dr. Josse will present important new insights into how Staphylococcus aureus invades and persists within osteoblasts, contributing to antibiotic tolerance and chronic bone infections. His talk will highlight cellular and molecular mechanisms that enable intracellular survival, shedding light on why osteomyelitis is difficult to eradicate and how these findings may inform improved therapeutic strategies.
Dr. Josse’s research focuses on host–pathogen interactions in bone infections, with particular emphasis on intracellular S. aureus, antibiotic tolerance, and chronic osteomyelitis. By integrating cell biology, microbiology, and clinically relevant infection models, his work aims to identify host- and pathogen-driven mechanisms that sustain persistence and treatment failure in bone disease.
We look forward to Dr. Josse’s contribution to an engaging and impactful scientific program.
This conference is organized by Impact Research Communications (IRC)
