Speaker Announcement | 2nd International Virtual Conference on Staphylococci and Staphylococcal Infections
We are pleased to announce Dr. James O’Gara, Professor at the University of Galway, Ireland, as a featured speaker at this year’s global gathering of Staphylococcus researchers.
Prof. O’Gara will share exciting advances in combatting methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), focusing on innovative adjuvant strategies designed to restore antibiotic efficacy. His talk will highlight emerging molecular targets, mechanisms that drive resistance, and promising approaches that could significantly shift the therapeutic landscape for difficult-to-treat MRSA infections.
A leading expert in Staphylococcus aureus pathogenesis and antimicrobial resistance, Jim’s research centers on uncovering how regulatory networks, biofilm formation, and stress responses contribute to persistent and drug-resistant infections.
