🔴 Day 1 Live Update

Session II — Drug Resistance Mechanisms and Antibiotic Discovery (ECRs)

Chaired by Dr. Nupur Angrish
Birkbeck, University of London, United Kingdom

Day 1 continues with Session II, chaired by Dr. Nupur Angrish, a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Mycobacteria Research Laboratory at Birkbeck, University of London, working with Professor Sanjib Bhakta’s research group.

Dr. Angrish’s research has contributed to studies involving Mycobacterium tuberculosis, including investigations of potential therapeutic targets and computational approaches to identifying novel inhibitors. Her published work includes research on dihydrodipicolinate reductase (DapB), an enzyme in the diaminopimelate pathway of M. tuberculosis, as well as studies examining host and pathogen biology in tuberculosis.

As part of this Early Career Researchers session, the discussion brings attention to emerging research and perspectives from scientists working in tuberculosis and mycobacteriology.

The session provides an opportunity to highlight the work of early-career researchers while contributing to broader scientific discussions on drug resistance, antibiotic discovery, and new approaches in TB research.

This conference is organized by Impact Research Communications (IRC)
