🔴 Day 1 Live Update

Co-Chair — Dr. Inna Krieger, Texas A&M University, USA

Dr. Inna Krieger, Senior Research Scientist at Texas A&M University, brings expertise in biochemical and structural biology to research focused on Mycobacterium tuberculosis and tuberculosis drug discovery. Her work involves understanding protein function and using structural and biochemical approaches to support the identification and development of potential therapeutic targets.

Her research has contributed to studies of M. tuberculosis proteins and pathways relevant to drug discovery, including work on potential therapeutic targets and compounds with activity against the bacterium. She has also contributed to research investigating mechanisms associated with tuberculosis drug resistance.

As Co-Chair of the session, Dr. Krieger is contributing to the scientific discussions surrounding tuberculosis drug resistance, target validation, and the discovery of new therapeutic approaches.

The discussions continue throughout Frontiers in TB & Mycobacteriology 2026, bringing together researchers working across tuberculosis research, mycobacterial biology, antimicrobial resistance, and drug discovery.

This conference is organized by Impact Research Communications (IRC)
