Speaker Announcement | 2nd International Virtual Conference on Staphylococci and Staphylococcal Infections
We are pleased to welcome Dr. Benedykt Wladyka, PhD, DSc, Associate Professor in the Department of Analytical Biochemistry, Faculty of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Biotechnology, Jagiellonian University (Poland), as an invited speaker.
Dr. Władyka will present current research on peptidoglycan hydrolases and their potential as powerful anti-staphylococcal agents. His talk will highlight the molecular mechanisms by which these enzymes target the S. aureus cell wall, their role in bacterial physiology and lysis, and their promise as alternative or complementary therapeutics in the fight against antibiotic-resistant infections.
Dr. Władyka’s research focuses on the structure, function, and application of bacterial cell wall–degrading enzymes, antimicrobial proteins, and host–pathogen interactions. His group combines biochemical, structural, and microbiological approaches to explore novel enzyme-based strategies for combating Staphylococcus aureus and other pathogenic bacteria.
We look forward to Dr. Władyka’s contribution to an exciting and forward-looking scientific program.
This conference is organized by Impact Research Communications (IRC)
