We are pleased to welcome Tanmay Majumdar, PhD, Staff Scientist & Head of the Center for Excellence in Vaccine Development at the BRIC-National Institute of Immunology (Biotechnology Research & Innovation Council, Department of Biotechnology, Government of India), as a featured speaker at the International Virtual Conference on Advances in Toxoplasmosis Research.
Dr. Majumdar’s research focuses on immunometabolism, vaccine development, and host immune regulation, with particular emphasis on how metabolic pathways influence T cell function and plasticity during infection. His work explores the intersection of signaling networks and mitochondrial dynamics in shaping adaptive immune responses.
In this talk, Dr. Majumdar will present recent findings on how β-catenin–mediated immunometabolic reprogramming drives mitochondrial remodeling and T cell plasticity, revealing key mechanisms that regulate immune function during infection. Join the meeting to learn how metabolic signaling pathways redefine T cell responses and open new avenues for immunotherapeutic strategies.
