Speaker Announcement
We are delighted to welcome Prof. Rikke Meyer from Aarhus University, Denmark, as a distinguished speaker on February 23–24, 2026 at the 2nd International Virtual Conference on Staphylococci and Staphylococcal Infections.
Prof. Meyer will explore groundbreaking insights into how extracellular nucleic acids shape biofilm structure, stability, and pathogenic potential in Staphylococcus species. Her presentation will illuminate new mechanistic understanding and potential therapeutic avenues that could transform how we address persistent biofilm-associated infections.
A leading researcher in microbial biofilms, Prof. Meyer’s work integrates microbiology, biophysics, and advanced imaging to unravel how bacteria organize, adapt, and persist within complex communities. Her research group is internationally recognized for advancing our understanding of biofilm architecture and antimicrobial tolerance, contributions that continue to influence both fundamental science and applied biomedical strategies.
We are honored to have Prof. Meyer share her expertise with the global scientific community.
