February 10, 2026 | Central European Time

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Catherine Alix-Panabières as a featured speaker at the Virtual Liquid Biopsy Symposium.

Prof. Alix-Panabières is Professor of Oncology and Director of the Liquid Biopsy Laboratory (LCCRH) at the University Medical Centre of Montpellier, France, and is internationally recognized as one of the pioneers of liquid biopsy. Alongside Prof. Klaus Pantel, she introduced the concept of “liquid biopsy” in 2010, a milestone that has fundamentally transformed precision oncology.

With more than 25 years of leadership in cancer research, Prof. Alix-Panabières has authored over 170 peer-reviewed publications and leads major international translational research programs. Her work focuses on circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and other blood-based biomarkers, advancing non-invasive approaches to cancer detection, prognosis, and treatment monitoring. Her laboratory is at the forefront of developing innovative technologies to isolate and characterize rare circulating tumor cells, integrating liquid biopsy with multi-omics and emerging analytical approaches to support real-time, personalized cancer care.

In this talk, Catherine will explore how liquid biopsy has evolved from a disruptive scientific idea into a clinical reality, reshaping how we understand tumor biology, monitor disease progression, detect resistance, and tailor therapies over time. The “medical revolution” reflects a shift toward minimally invasive, dynamic, and patient-centric oncology.

Time: Starts at 12:30 PM, Central European Time

Join us on February 10, 2026 for an inspiring session with one of the visionaries driving the future of cancer diagnostics.
